Double Summer
My blog is called triple winter. I guess that is why I don't post frequently in the summer. I am busy in the summer, what can I say. If more of you clicked on those Google Ad's I would have more motivation!
Here is a recap of my double summer:
- I spent 2 months in Florida (April 7 - June 7). I actually got used to living in 90 degree heat and I would put on pants at night if the temp went below 80.
- I returned to Jackson on June 7 in the middle of a snowstorm. Hence the double summer - 2 months in FL, 2-3 months in WY (we have a short summer, usually frost hits by Sept 10th). I also returned from FL with a new baby girl, Julia.
- June 8 - September 15 I was busy with the baby. I played a ton of golf and pushed the girl in a stroller, usually for 9 holes (or until she decided that it was time to eat).
- Sept. 15 - Nov 3 was filled with travel: Bay Area to DC, NYC, BOS to NY to Spain for 2 weeks.
- November 4 was a day to remember - more later, but I'll leave most of that up to the other political bloggers.
Now, back in Jackson Hole it has started to SNOW. Grand Targhee reported 18 inches yesterday and Teton Pass was closed for a few hours. Maybe I should change the name of the blog to Quad Winter in honor of the 4th winter season of blogging.
Stay tuned -- pictures will be posted from the journey.
